The pandemic situation has revealed that an important part of the misinformation and hoaxes that circulate on social networks is related to nutrition, diet and food. Misleading messages can produce harmful effects on health, so CADENUSA will develop a series of informative materials that help the population to detect them.
Raise awareness, train and educate on food content. To this end, informative and formative materials will be developed that are truthful, contrasted and from reliable sources on nutrition and safety. These materials will be distributed in various formats, ensuring that they are accessible to the population with visual or hearing disabilities.
CADENUSA’s activities are supported by the UNESCO Chair Grants of the University of Valencia for Development Education, Global Citizenship and Awareness for the academic year 2021-2022. This campaign is part of the ESMODA-ECO project.
