On Scienceflows we support the scientific vocations of Secondary Education students

On Sunday, April 22, the XIII edition of the Experimenta Fair-Contest 2018 was held convened and organised every year for thirteen years by the Faculty of Physics of the University of Valencia. This initiative aims to convert Secondary Education students (ESO girls and boys, Baccalaureate and Intermediate Training Cycles) into active and creative protagonists, showing their experiments in physics and technology to all audiences. The event will take place at the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum, in Valencia. CIS included the complementary and alternative therapies, in its February barometer

Last February 2018, the CIS (Center for Sociological Research) included in its barometer a questionnaire of 19 questions related to health issues, including questions about knowledge and use of 20 complementary and alternative therapies. The questionnaire asked about the therapies considered most popular among the Spanish population such as acupuncture, homeopathy, yoga and osteopathy. Lourdes Ramiro Carrillo, 4th year student of Journalism of the University of Valencia, has presented in June 2017 her Final Degree Project entitled: “Homeopathy in the spotlight”, carried out within the framework of the ESTENAS project, under the direction of Carolina Moreno.
